Personnel Assistant

We are looking for a professional individual with great communication experience and highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office. Qualified candidates must be comfortable with computers and technology. This is a high volume staffing office and the selected candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks in a professional and friendly manner.

If you are looking for an entry level position in an energetic, fast paced, exciting and ever changing industry and enjoy working with the public- we are seeking a Personnel Assistant to add to our team. This position may be for you if you have been in a role where customer service and administrative skills were key. Day to day tasks may change but the primary duties will be:

  • Greeting candidates and prospective candidates.
  • Handling callers and applicants on the phone and at the reception window in a friendly, engaging and professional manner.
  • Screening applications.
  • Data entry, Filing, Copy/scan machine use.
  • Scheduling interviews, orientations and administering testing.
  • Assisting Staffing Specialists at various stages of the hiring process.
  • Providing assistance to applicants and employees as needed.
  • Setting up new employee files.
  • Good organization skills.
