Mitigation Technician

Personnel Services Unlimited, Inc. –Shelby, is actively recruiting for a Mitigation Tech to work for an outstanding local Shelby Company.

The Mitigation Technician provides various disaster recovery services to residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license , as well as a clean driving record
• Able to pass background check and drug test
• Has a personal cell phone

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Experience using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Experience with water/fire/smoke damage, mold remediation, and any other emergency /disaster recovery is preferred.
• Able to bend, squat, stand, and lift at least 50 lbs. objects as needed.
• Able to climb ladders
• Should have a strong work ethic and an eye for detail
• Math skills are highly beneficial
• Able to work around a variety of chemicals without any adverse reaction or sensitivity
• Safety and customer service, with sensitivity to client’s needs.
• Must be reliable, dependable and flexible
• Willing to participate in on-call after hours and weekend work as needed.
